There was a good turnout as usual for the Remembrance Sunday service at Salterforth.  Councillors and the public gathered at the war memorial to pay their respects to the fallen.

Afterwards tea, coffee and cakes were served in the village hall to those attending with a historical display for the WW1 period about young men from the village who left to fight at the front.

The poppy cakes were supplied by Chloe's Cakes, North Yorkshire.
