Village Flora and Fauna

Salterforth village and the surrounding area is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna at various times of the year. Please check out the galleries displaying some of the wildlife that can be seen in the Parish of Salterforth and nearby areas on your walk.

The village organised it's first bat walk in September 2019, which was extremely well attended, with 31 people armed with bat detectors taking part.
