Salterforth has a fabulous and very popular, fully accessible children's playground, which has had some new play equipment for younger children added to it. There are various climbing frames, a mini digger and sandpit.  There is also a playing field next to the playground which is great for a kick around with a football.  The play area is securely fenced so your children can run around safely.

The playground can be found situated near the war memorial just on the edge of the park.

Please note that dogs are not allowed within the fenced area where the play equipment is situated.
