About Your Precept

Town and Parish councils issue a precept which is an amount of money they require from council tax payers in the area to invest back into the local area on pre determined events, activites and more.

The amount is calculated annually by the parish and forms part of your council tax charge.  It is set at the beginning of the year, usually in January, ready for the new financial and tax year starting in April.

Please see below the latest precept information.
