About the Playing Field

The Play Area - just after installation of the new equipment

The village playing field is owned and serviced by Salterforth Parish Council.

It is very popular with the village residents for dog walking, meeting friends, using the children's playground and also for kids to have a kick about.

The playground has in recent years been updated and has a sandpit and play equipment suitable for children of all ages. More information on the childrens playground can be found here - childrens playground.
