About the Council

Salterforth Parish Council consists of seven Councillors and one Parish Clerk.

As a general rule we meet bi-monthly* on the last Wednesday of month in the Village Hall at 7.00 pm.

The meeting is an open event to all, and welcomes any member of the Parish.  If you would like to add a contribution to the agenda please notify the Parish Clerk at least three days before the meeting.

Agendas for meetings can be found on the notice board which can be found at the village crossroads, on this website, and the council Facebook page.

If you want to be a Parish Councillor, please take a look at the information below to see if it is for you.  If you want to find out more please contact the Parish Clerk and/or one of the Parish Councillors who will be more than happy to help.
